Introduction

very easy yummy. My kids love them. You can use brown sugar instead of honey. And you can use oil instead of the flax seed, if needed. very easy yummy. My kids love them. You can use brown sugar instead of honey. And you can use oil instead of the flax seed, if needed.

Ingredients

    1 c. whole wheat flour
    1 1/2 c buttermilk
    1 T flax seed
    1 egg
    1/4 tsp salt
    2 T honey
    1/4 tsp baking soda
    1 T baking powder

Directions

In a blender, blend the first 2 ingredients for 3 minutes. you may have to use a spatula to scrape the sides. Add the next 4 ingredients and blend for 10 seconds. Add the final 2 ingredients and pulse a few times. Let batter stand for a few minutes while the griddle/pan is heating up. Cook. Makes about 10-12.
*If you get 12, then the calories are about 68 each.
