Introduction

Delicious, tropical, Thai dessert... easy and simple to make! Delicious, tropical, Thai dessert... easy and simple to make!
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    1 cup lite coconut milk
6 medium bananas, sliced 1" thick diagonally
    3 tbsp Splenda

Directions

NOTE: Lite coconut milk is not available on Sparkpeople, but has only 180 calories per cup instead of regular coconut milk (used to calculate this recipe's calories), which has 445.2 calories per cup. So the actual calorie count if you use canned light coconut milk is less than half of what's shown!!!

In small saucepan, combine lite coconut milk and Splenda. Heat until boiling, stirring occasionally. Pour over banana slices in small serving bowls.

What a great idea. I would use a little agave or coconut palm sugar instead of splenda. And Silk Pure Coconut milk only has 80 calories per 1 cup! - 11/9/13

    Good
In Thailand we cook banana then do not need to add splenda. However, if I need to add sweetener, I will add stavia.

    Btw, I'm Thai.

In California, ranch 99 I can find lite coconut milk it's only 70 cal per serving for 1/2 cup.
