MMMMMMM. Yummy substitute for Mexican Cravings MMMMMMM. Yummy substitute for Mexican CravingsNumber of Servings: 4
Ingredients
-
1 lb. ground pork, lean
1 packet of taco seasoning
8 oz. of tri colored rotini
1/2 a green pepper
1/2 a red onion
24 small black olives
salsa, as desired
cheese is optional but adds more calories and fat
Directions
Makes 4 servings
Start water to boil for Rotini
While waiting for water to boil, start prepping veggies. You will be done quickly, so when you finish start browing your meat.
Boil noodles as per directions (8-10) for al dente.
Add taco seasoning to meat. (you can either cook the green peppers and onion in the meat, or leave it out; I prefer to leave it out for texture and flavor).
Add cooked pasta to finished meat and stir.
Garnish with bell pepper, red onion, black olives, and salsa. Again, you can add cheese if you like, but it will add more calories than what the recipe says.
Enjoy!!!!!
