Ingredients

    1 1/4 cups whole wheat flour
    1 cup all purpose unbleached flour
    1/2 cup packed brown sugar
    3/4 tsp baking soda
    1/2 tsp baking powder
    1/2 tsp salt
    6 tsp cinnamon plus spice blend (Pampered Chef)
    2 gala apples, cored, finely chopped
    2 tbsp natural butter flavored grapeseed oil (Wildtree)
    1 cup unsweetened applesauce
    1/2 cup nonfat milk
    4 egg whites
    6 tbsp wheat germ

Directions

Use an electric mixer to blend all ingredients together until well-blended. Pour into desired pan and bake at 350 degrees. Makes 18 muffins (about 30 minutes), 4 mini loaves (about 40 minutes), or 1 regular loaf (about 45 minutes). Nutrition info based on 16 servings or 1/4 of a mini loaf.
