Ingredients

*2 1in thick pork chops (approx 1 pound)
    *1 egg
    *2 Tbsp milk
    *1/4 tsp black pepper
    *1 cup bread crumbs
    *1 Tbsp oregano
*1 tsp garlic powder OR 2 cloves garlic, minced (nutritional info for cloves NOT included)
    *1 tsp onion powder
    *2 pinches powdered cayenne pepper

Directions

1) Preheat oven to 425*. Set up an elevated rack on a cookie sheet.
2) Trim fat from pork chops; cut each chop in half, so they are no more than 1/2" thick.
3) Mix egg, milk, and pepper together in a small bowl. In a separate bowl or plate, mix bread crumbs and remaining spices.
4) Dip each chop into egg mixture, then bread crumb mixture; repeat.
5) Arrange on wire rack so that each chop is approx. 1/2" away from each other. Bake for approx 10 minutes; turn. Remove from oven when internal temperature has reached 145*. Wait 5 minutes, or until meat has finished cooking (155*.) Makes 4 chops.
