Ingredients

    1 tsp. soft margarine
    1 med. onion, chopped
    1 cu. sliced mushrooms
    1c. diced celery
    1 eggs
    1 can (213 g) salmon
    1 cup fine fresh bread crumbs
    .66 c. milk
    .25 c. chopped fresh dill
    pepper

Directions

In skillet, melt margarine over medium heat; cook onion, mushrooms and celery, stirring, for about 5 min. or until tender-crisp. In a medium bowl, lightly beat eggs; add mushroom mixture. Drain salmon liquid into egg mixture. Flake salmon and mash bones; add to bowl along with bread crumbs, milk, dill, and pepper to taste. Srit lightly to mix. Transfer to lightly greased 8.5 X 4.5 inch loaf pan. Place in larger pan and pour in enough hot watter to come 1-in. up sides of loaf pan. Bake, uncouvered, in 350 degree oven for 45 to 55 min. or until firm to the touch. Pour off any liquid.
