Introduction

Make a chai tea frappuccino that will rival Starbucks! This recipe makes 24 oz. of frappuccino or the equivalent of a Venti frappuccino, but at a fraction of the cost of course. :] Split it with a friend or make half the recipe for a Tall size (12 oz) drink and half the calories! Ingredients

    3 cups crushed ice
    1.5 cups non-fat milk
    4 tbsp. Chai latte powder/mix
    (I use Pacific Vanilla Chai, 2 tbsp. = 1 serving, 90 calories)
    A dash of ground cloves and cinnamon for extra flavor

Directions

Blend milk, chai mix and spices in the blender first until all the powder is dissolved. Then add crushed ice and blend until smooth but not frothy. You may need to stir occasionally to make sure all the ice gets mixed in. Serve with a straw. Makes 24 oz. or two 12 oz. servings.

For a little flair serve with a dollop of whipped cream and sprinkle a little cinnamon or other spice on top.
