Ingredients

1 pound ground beef
1 cup chopped onion
1 cup chopped bell peppers
1/2 of a 3 1/2 oz pkg sliced pepperoni
1 15 1/2 oz jar pizza sauce
1 4 oz can mushrooms, stems and pieces
1/2 tsp fennel seeds, crushed
1/2 tsp oregano
1/2 tsp basil
2 eggs
1 cup heavy cream
1 tbs cooking oil
1 cup Carbquik baking mix
8 oz shredded mozzarella
1/4 grated parmesan cheese
Brown ground beef with onion and pepper. Cut pepperoni slices in half. sitr pepperoni, sauce, mushrooms, fennel, oregano and basil into meat. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat. Simmer for 10 mins.
Meanwhile grease a 3 quart rectangular baking dish ans set aside. Mix the Carbquik, eggs and milk together until smooth.
Pour the hot meat mixture into the casserole dish. Layer the mozzarella cheese over top. Pour Carbquik mix over top of cheese, spread evenly to cover the whole casserole. Sprinkle with parmesan. Bake at 400 for about 30 minutes until topping is puffed and golden brown. Serve immediately
