Introduction

Ingredients

    1/2 cup Oats
    1/2 cup 2% milk
    1/2 cup water
    1/4 cup frozen or fresh blueberries
    1/2 tsp vanilla extract
    3 tsp raw sugar (optional)

Directions

put oats, milk and water in pot on medium heat. In a small sauce pan add blueberries and vanilla extract on medium heat. I alternate stir both pots with one spoon. Cook blueberries until good amount of juices at bottom of pan, add to oats and liquids pan. add sugar if wanted. Stir until desired consistency is reached.

    Very Good
    This recipe works great with or without the sugar. I tried it both ways. I did add a little cinnamon to it the second time I tried the recipe. It did seem to add some positive flavor to the recipe. Thank-you Jessyjaines! - 6/13/12
