Ingredients

Preheat oven to 350 deg. Wash, remove tops and insides of peppers, shaking the water from them. Lightly coat a 2 qt. baking dish with a little of the Ragu. Stuff the peppers and place in the dish. Cube the cheese and put throughout the peppers. Pour the Ragu over the top and sprinkle with parmesan cheese. Bake for 1 1/2 hr. covered.

Directions

I have also put the cheese in the sausage mixture rather than in the dish. I don't use salt since the sausage has enough salt for the dish. Using turkey sausage would save some fat and calories. Makes 8 servings.
