Introduction
Sticky, just sweet enough and full of goodness from the nuts and fruit, this is gluten free and easily adaptable to be vegan (just use agave instead of the honey, or leave it out completely). They're like the richest, fudgiest brownies ever! Ingredients

1 cup chopped walnuts
1/2 cup slivered almonds
10 whole dates, chopped
5 whole prunes, chopped
1 tbsp honey or agave (optional)
1/3 cup cocoa powder
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp almond butter
1/4 cup applesauce
1 cup blackberries or raspberries
Directions
Preheat oven to 325F, grease an 8" square pan.
Place the walnuts and almonds in a food processor and process until they become a coarse flour.
Add the dates, prunes and honey and blend into the nuts.
Add cocoa, cinnamon, oil, almond butter and applesauce and pulse everything together to form a sticky blend.
Add the berries and pulse in, so that they are in pieces but not completely pureed.
Pour the mixture into the pan and bake for 40 – 50 minutes.
Cool completely before cutting
