Ingredients

    1 lb ground beef, 93% lean
    1 can French Onion soup
    1 tbs flour
    1 soup can hot water

Tips

Makes 6 servings.


Directions

Empty soup into saucepan. Dissolve flour in can with about 1/4 can hot water, then add remaining water to fill can and add to soup. Heat until thickens to gravy.

Form ground beef into 6 patties. Cook in skillet over medium-high heat. Add to gravy.

Can be served with bread (1 slice=75 cal) and mashed potatoes (1/2 cup=210 cal).

Makes 6 servings.

    I made my own onion soup using low sodium beef broth and fresh onions. I add a bit of hot sauce for some zip. A good basic recipe that can be added to easily. - 6/30/19
