Ingredients

2 pounds each ground beef and ground pork
2-3 loafs white sunbeam bread not sandwich not fancy bread
    2-3 sticks butter
    2 onions
    4 eggs large
    Poultry Seasoning to taste
    pepper to taste

Directions

Cook the night before ypu plan to cook the bird.In large 8 quart pan put beef and pork and water to about 1/3 up pan. Chop and add onions. I add large pieces that I remove later. Some of us don't like onions. Boil meats and start toasting and buttering the bread. As meat cooks break up bread into small pieces and add. Continue adding toast til it is very thick. You will need to reduduce heat as it thickens and stir to keep from sticking. Remove from heat and add eggs and beat with mixer until well blended. Add poultry seasong and pepper to taste. It takes a lot of seasoning. Stir and taste after each addition
Cool in fridge over night and stuff bird front and back in morning. Put leftover in a pan cover with aluminum foil and bake. I love to have a bowl cold for Xmas breakfast. It makes almost 8 quarts about 58 one half cup servings.
