Ingredients

    1 tbsp Bacon Fat (rendered fat)
    1/4 c Bacon Bits Hormel 50% less fat
    1/2 Medium Onion, chopped
    1 lb bag frozen Publix Black-Eyed Peas
    water
    Salt and Pepper

Directions

Makes about 4 1 cup servings

Saute onions and bacon bits in the bacon fat until traslucent. Add peas and enough water to cover the peas. Cook until done. Season with salt and pepper as desired.
