Ingredients:
* Butter, salted, 0.60 cup
* Milk, 2%, 2 cup
* Egg, fresh, 1 large (remove)
* Salt, 1 tsp
* Orange Peel, 2 tbsp
* Honey, 2 tbsp
* Granulated Sugar, 6 tsp
* Flour, white, 3 cup
* Yeast, bakers, 2 ounce
Directions
This is just for me. Heat milk, honey, salt, butter until it's warm to touch. Add yeast. Let it sit for a few mins. Add flour, beat 50 times, stick a coin or two in, pour into greased pan, let rise till double,sprinkle sugar and orange peel on top. Bake 30 mins or so at 400. Cut into 24 pieces or fewer if you want bigger pieces.
Rolls: Leave out the egg and sugar and orange peel and it's a good recipe to make quick dinner rolls in a casserole dish or baking pan. Just drop them by spoonfuls. Brush with melted butter (save some out instead of putting it in the batter).
