Ingredients

1 lb. Butterball Ground Turkey 97% lean
3 tbsp. Amore Italian Tomato Paste (In a Tube)
1 medium chopped onion
4 (15.5 oz.) cans Vitarroz Small White Beans
2 (4 oz.) cans Old El Paso Chopped Green Chiles
1 (28 oz.) can Hunts Whole Plum Tomatoes NO SALT ADDED
4 tsp. Garlic
1 tbsp. Ground Cumin
1 tbsp. Oregano, ground
1 tbsp. Cilantro, dried
¼ tsp. Cayenne Red Pepper
¼ tsp. Crushed Red Pepper Flakes
Directions
1. In a 6-quart Dutch oven cook and stir ground beef, ground turkey, onion and garlic until meat is browned and onion is tender.
2. Drain fat.
3. Stir in beans, chiles, cumin, oregano, cilantro, and cayenne & crushed red pepper.
4. Break down whole tomatoes using a hand held mixer or potato masher.
5. Add tomatoes and tomato paste.
6. Bring to a boil and reduce heat to a simmer.
7. Simmer for 40 minutes, stirring occasionally.
8. Ladle into soup bowls, top with cheese (if desired) and serve.
Serving Size: Makes 8 (1 1/2 cup servings)
