Introduction

Basic French Bread, 2 lb loaf Basic French Bread, 2 lb loaf
Number of Servings: 10

Ingredients

    1 1/3 c water (75-85 degrees F)
    1 1/2 tbs softened butter or margarine
    4 cups bread flour
    5 tsp sugar
    1 1/2 tsp salt
    4 tsp bread machine yeast

Directions

Place ingredients in the bread pan in order. make an indentation on the side with your finger for the yeast. bake in bread machine as directed.

Serving Size: makes about 10 slices
