Ingredients
-
1/4 a pack of pillsbury value pack buttermilk biscuits (the blue 4 pack)
3 TBSP of Corn Starch (I use Argo or Clabber Girl)
2 Cups Milk
1/2 a tube of Tennesse Pride Mild sausage
Directions
Prepare the Biscuits on the pan as directed on the package, turn on your oven and let preheat while you cook the sausage.
Brown sausage in a heavy tall sided skillet, cooking all the way through, when sausage is nearly done, put biscuits in the oven.
When sausage is browned all the way through, add the starch and stir to coat the meat and soak up the grease.
Gradually stir in the milk and salt and pepper to taste, let come to a boil and continue simmer while your biscuits cook, stirring very frequently.
(*you can add starch to thicken or more milk to thin, but this will make the calories per serving change*)
I usually have this as brunch since its a higher calorie food.
