Ingredients

    4 pork chops, 1" thick
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1 tsp dried sage
    1 tsp dried rosemary
    1 tsp salt
    pepper to taste
    2 tsp butter
    1 tsp olive oil
    3/4 cup dry white wine

Directions

On a plate, combine the garlic, sage, rosemary, salt and pepper. Rub the mixture firmly onto both sides of the pork chops.

In a large skillet, melt the butter and olive oil over medium heat. Add in the pork chops and cook until browned on both sides, about 6-8 minutes total.

Add the wine to the skillet and bring to a boil. Cover and reduce to a simmer, cooking until pork chops are tender and juices run clear, about 25-30 minutes.

Remove the pork chops and bring leftover sauce to a boil over high heat and cook 2-3 minutes to thicken slightly, then serve over the pork chops.
