2 1/4 cups all purpose flour
    1 tsp baking soda
    1 cup butter, softened
    3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
    1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 (3.4 oz) package instant pudding mix (any flavor..I chose pistachio today)
    2 eggs
    1 tsp vanilla extract
    1 bag chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix flour and baking soda together and set aside.
In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar and granulated sugar. Beat in the instant pudding until blended. Add eggs and vanilla and mix thoroughly. Mix in flour and then stir in the chips. You can add chopped nuts (1 cup) if you'd like. Drop by teaspoonfuls (for small cookies) or tablespoonfuls (for large cookies) onto cookie sheets.
Bake 8-10 minutes for small cookies or 10-12 for large. Edges should be light golden brown.
Let sit on sheet for 2-3 minutes and transfer to a cooling rack to finish cooling.

Serving Size: Makes 72 small cookies or 36 larger ones
