Ingredients

    1 ripe avocado (1 aguacate maduro)
    2 Tbsp cilantro, chopped (2 cda cilantro, picado)
    1/2 tsp Tajin chili powder (1/2 cdta chilidito en polvo "Tajin")
    1/2 tsp SaLimon lime salt (1/2 cdta SaLimon sal y limon)
    1/2 tsp cumin powder (1/2 cdta comino en polvo)
    1/4 tsp garlic powder (1/4 cdta ajo en polvo)

    NOTES: The flavor profile of this recipe is different than "traditional" guacamole, hence there is no onion or tomato present. This is intentional. If you do not have Tajin and/or SaLimon available, you can use regular chili powder, 1/4 tsp salt, and 2 tbsp lime juice)

    NOTAS: El perfil de sabor de esta receta es diferente de guacamole "tradicional", por eso no hay cebolla o tomate. Intencionalmente no fueron incluidos. Si no tiene Tajin y/o SaLimon, se puede usar chili en polvo regular, 1/4 cdta sal y 2 cda jugo de limon)

Directions

Peel the avocado and remove the seed. Mash the avocado with a fork in a bowl until creamy. Add the remaining ingredients and mix well. Refrigerate until needed. Use within 24 hours.

Primer, pela el aguacate y retirar la semilla. Entonces, puré el aguacate en un bol con un tenedor hasta que esté cremosa. Agregue todos otros ingredientes y mezcle bien. Refrigere hasta que sea necesario. Use todo menos de 24 horas.

Optional: You can add yogurt, sour cream, or crema fresca for creaminess or to get a few more servings. (Opcional: Se puede agregar un poco yogurt, crema agria, o crema Mexicana para la cremosidad o algunas porciones adicionales)

    Sounds great add some onion powder and garlic poeder to taste - 7/24/11

    Of course you can add that if you must, but the simplicity of the flavor of the avocado, cumin and cilantro together is heavenly and will be overwhelmed by the strength of the onion powder. Garlic powder is already included, and can be punched up if desired, but be careful not to overdo it.
