Introduction

Number of Servings: 9

Ingredients

    1 cup flour
    ¾ cups whole wheat flour
    2/3 cup sugar
    2 tbsp poppy seeds
    1 tsp baking soda
    ½ tsp salt
    ¾ cup water
    2 tbsp olive oil
    2 tbsp grated lemon peel
    3 tbsp lemon juice

Directions

Heat oven to 350F.
Mix flours, sugar, poppy seeds, soda and salt in an un-greased 8” square pan.
Stir in remaining ingredients.
Bake 40 minutes.
Cool in pan 10 minutes, un-mould onto wire rack and cool completely.
