Introduction

Ingredients

    Semi-Skimmed Milk (ml) (UK), 500 g
    Granulated Sugar, 50 grams
    Cornflour - cornstarch, 2 tbsp
    Lurpak butter, unsalted, 10 gram
    Rum, 20 grams

Tips

I think I might prefer a yellow sauce version which uses egg yolks for added richness. (2 yolks for yellow sauce)

Vanilla or nutmeg to taste


Directions

Bring the milk and sugar to a simmer, then add corn starch. Cook for several minutes until thickened.

Add 1 tablespoon butter and rum flavouring.
