Ingredients

    2lbs Lean Ground Beef
    1/2lrg Onion- diced
    3 med carrots- grated
    4 lrg Celery stalk- diced
    1/4t red pepper flakes
    1t cumin
    1/2 chili rowder
    1T dried parsley
    salt and pepper to taste
    28oz can Diced Tomatos
    29oz can Tomato Sauce
    290z "refill"can water(use tomato can)

Tips


I don't drian my beef I like to cook with the oil and then I let the chili cool and set over night in the fridge and skim the fat off the top before reheating it. So if you're going to eat it the same day as making,drain the beef before adding to the mix.


Directions

Brown the beef on stove top/add S&P and cumin
add veggies to crock pot/add spices and mix
add tomato products and beef, mix well
add the water and a bit more chili powder
set on low for 8+hours
