Introduction

Not too difficult. Tasty, but a little higher on the calorie count (and sodium) than I'd like. Eek! This is the first recipe I've ever posted (in an effort to calculate how much junk my regular recipes have in it). Not too difficult. Ingredients

    Ricotta Cheese, whole milk, 15oz container
    Onions, raw, .5 cup, chopped
    *Colby and Monterey Jack Cheese shredded,1 bag
    *Barilla Ziti, 1 box
    *Wolfgang Puck Sauce - 4 Cheese, 16 oz jar
    *Al Fresco All Natural Sweet Italian Style Chicken Sausage, 1 package (slice after cooking)
    Olive Oil, 1 tbsp
    *1 egg
    *Christopher Ranch Minced Garlic, 1.5 tsp

Directions

1. Heat olive oil in a pan and add garlic and onion. Warm until onion is light brown in color.
2. Add sausage and cover so that sausage can cook thoroughly. Once cooked, slice into 1/2 inch pieces.
3. Cook pasta - for al dente 10 minutes.
4. In a mixing bowl, mix egg, ricotta cheese and set aside.
5. Drain excess oil off sausage, stir in pasta sauce.
6. In a glass casserole dish, layer: pasta, noodles, cheese and sauces.
7. Bake at 350F for 30 mins or until cheese is melted.
