Ingredients

    3 large jonagold apples
    1 tsp ground cinnamon
    2 tbsp all natural wildflower honey
    2/3 cup no sugar added orange juice

Tips

If a thicker liquid is desired, combine 1/8 tsp of cornstarch and a dash of water to make paste. Add to compote in last minute of cooking, stir well.

2 heaping tablespoons on top of morning oatmeal is AMAZING!!


Directions

1) peel, core, and dice apples; add to saucepan
2) reconstitute 1 tsp of frozen orange juice with 2/3 cup water and add to saucepan
3) add cinnamon and honey
4) stir and bring to a simmer over medium heat
5) cover and stir occasionally, until apple are desired softness.

Serving Size: 10-12
