Introduction

This is sooooo good! Made with Trader Joe's Peruvian Style Chimichurri Rice w vegetables. This is also good paired with chicken breasts if you're not into the turkey sausage! This is sooooo good! Ingredients

    1 Package of Trader Joe's Peruvian Style Chimichurri Rice with Vegetables
    1 Can of Del Monte Petite Cut Diced Tomatoes
    1 Package of Hillshire Farm Turkey Smoked Sausage, 13 oz

Tips

Instead of adding a couple tbsp of water like the directions say on the back of TJ's rice bag, I use the juice from the canned tomatoes. I do drain some of the juice first, the rice only needs a little bit of moisture. Good with chicken too (chicken would reduce salt content alot).


Directions

Slice the sausage into bite-size pieces, and cook over med heat until heated well through. Add TJ's Peruvian Rice and the can of tomatoes to the sausage and cook for approximately 5 min. Then you're done and ready to eat!
