Number of Servings: 30


    1 or 2 cans tomatoes
    1 bunch celery
    1 large head cabbage
    3 green peppers
    1 pkg Lipton Onion soup mix
    1 large can beef broth
    1 large onion
    2 cans green beans
    2 pounds carrots


Cut veggies into bite sized pieces. Cover everything with water and boil for 10 minutes. Reduce to simmer and continue cooking untit tender. Season with salt, pepper, curry, parsley, boulion, or hot sauce, whatever suits your taste.

Servings : I don't know just how many 'real' servings this makes. i just throw it together.
Its one of those "diet" soups.

  • Instead of the onion soup mix and can of broth, I substituted with several cups of water and 3 tsp chicken granules. Yum yum! I can feel the weight coming off :o) - 1/20/08
