Number of Servings: 16

Ingredients

    6-8 pitted dates
    4 tbsp peanut butter
    10 raw almonds
    1/2 cup rolled oats
    2 scoops chocolate protein powder
    1 tbsp ground flax
    1 tsp cocoa powder
    3 tbsp maple syrup*
    1 tsp vanilla
    1 tsp sesame seeds

Directions

Blend ingredients in a food processor. Blend and blend until a fine grain is created and it starts to get sticky.

Press into a lined pan (either a loaf pan or a 4x4" sandwich container). Press down evenly.

Place in the fridge for 15 minutes.

Cut int squares.

These freeze great and then you can pop them out when you want a quick post workout snack.

Serving Size: Makes 16x 1" squares

  • I keep a batch of these tightly wrapped in my freezer for "quick grabbing". I do not, however, add the sesame seeds. I am not sure why they are necessary in this recipe but I guess if you like them.... go for it :) - 1/25/18
