Ingredients

    2 slices whole wheat bread
    2 eggs
    1 tbsp. milk
    1 tsp. pure maple syrup
    1/4 tsp. cinnamon
    1 oz. sliced cheddar cheese
    2 thin slices deli turkey


Directions

Heat a non-stick pan over medium high. In a bowl, whisk together one egg, milk, maple syrup, and cinnamon. Dip each slice of bread into the egg mixture until throughly soaked and place in the pan. Cook on medium high until both sides are golden brown. Remove from pan and set aside. In the same pan, fry the other egg, any style. Remove the egg. Place the bread back in the pan. Top one slice with the egg, cheese, and turkey. Place the other slice of bread on top. Cook over medium heat until the cheese is melted.

Serving Size: Makes one sandwich
