Ingredients

    1 can (3-4 oz) mushrooms, chopped
    milk
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    1 tsp. worcestershire sauce
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. dry mustard
    dash pepper
    1 1/2 c. soft breadcrumbs
    1 1/2 lb. lean ground beef
    3-4 tbsp. barbecue sauce

Directions

Drain the chopped muchrooms, reserving the liquid. Add enough milk to mushroom liquid to make 1/2 c.. In mixing bowl, combine milk mixture, egg, worcestershire sauce, seasonings, and bread crumbs. Let mixture stand about 5 minutes. Stir in ground beef and chopped mushrooms; mix lightly but thoroughly. Put meat loaf into lightly greased casserole dish or 13x9" baking dish. Bake at 350* for 1 hour. Remove from oven to brush barbecue sauce on top and return to oven for another 15 minutes.
