    4 c. peeled and sliced fresh peaches
    1 c. flour
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 egg, beaten
    1/2 c. melted butter


Butter an 8 inch baking dish. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Peel and slice peaches, place in bottom of baking dish. In seperate bowl, mix flour, sugar and baking powder until evenly blended. Add beaten egg to flour mixture and using a fork or your fingers, mix until all is dampened and resembles lots of small clumps. Scatter over peaches. Drizzle the melted butter evenly over the top, making sure that all is moistened. Bake for 25 minutes. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
