Ingredients

    Ground Bison
    Cilantro
    Green onion
    fish sauce
    agave
    garlic powder or fresh garlic
    ginger (sliced to matchsticks)
    jalapeno (or chili of your choice)
    peanuts (crushed)
    Lime juice (I juice the limes straight in and typically use 2)
    Water

Tips

Serve with rice or quinoa and your choice of romaine lettuce or nappa cabbage. You can also substitute out any type of protein you would like; chicken or shrimp work great with this recipe.


Directions

Bring water to a simmer and add ground bison. Stir to break up into small pieces. Add garlic and ginger and cook bison all the way through. Add the rest of the ingredients. Serve with rice or quinoa and your choice of romaine lettuce or nappa cabbage.

Serving Size: Makes 5 servings when eaten with quinoa or another grain
