Ingredients

2/3 cup all-purpose flour
½ tsp baking powder
¼ tsp salt
4 oz. semisweet chocolate
2 oz. unsweetened chocolate
½ cup unsalted butter
½ cup sugar
3 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp vanilla extract
2 eggs
½ cup mascarpone cheese
8 oz. smooth peanut butter
3 tbsp mascarpone cheese
¼ cup powdered sugar
Directions
Preheat oven to 325 degrees
Grease a 9-inch square baking pan.
Whisk together the flour, baking powder and salt.
Melt the chocolates with the butter. Whisk in sugars and vanilla.
Whisk in the eggs, one at a time.
Whisk the dry ingredients into the chocolate mixture until the brownie batter is smooth.
Separately, beat the peanut butter with the 3 tbsp mascarpone and the powdered sugar.
Pour half of the brownie batter into the baking pan.
Dollop the peanut butter mixture on top and cover with the remaining batter.
Bake the brownies for about 45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few crumbs attached.
Chill completely before cutting.
