Ingredients

    ~8lb turkey breast, skin and fat removed (as much as possible)
    .25c butter
    broth or white wine
    1 small onion, quartered
    a few garlic cloves
    whatever dried herbs you like
    salt and pepper

Directions

Clean turkey and rub down with salt, pepper and herbs. Cut a few holes in the breast and insert garlic cloves. Load the cavity up with a few garlic cloves, half the onion and the butter. Place in crockpot. Put more onion around the turkey and add broth. Cook on low 11-12 hours (or about 6 hours on high). Check that internal temp is at least 165. Rest 20 minutes before slicing.

Serving Size: 12-16 servings (more, if you're clever)
