Ingredients

    2 med bananas
    1 cup old-fashioned oats
    3 Tbs unsweetened cocoa powder
    1.5 cups unsweetened almond milk
    1/4 tsp sea salt
    1/2 tsp vanilla

    Additions:
    bittersweet choco chips for garnish if desired
    additional milk to thin if heating later

Tips

I make this and eat one serving, then refrigerate the rest for other mornings. Heat in microwave and thin with desired liquid. Add additional sweetener if desired.


Directions

Break up bananas in saucepan and cook over medium heat until lightly carmelized and smooth; 2 to 3 minutes. Add oats, cocoa, almond milk, sea salt and vanilla; cook for 5 to 7 minutes. Spoon into 3 covered containers and top with chocolate chips if desired. Refrigerate.

Serving Size: makes 3 3/4 cup servings
