Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

Bananas, brown and mushy, 4 small (6" to 6-7/8" long)
    Butter, salted, .25 cup
    Egg, fresh, 1 extra large
    Granulated Sugar, .5 cup
    *Flour, white, 1.5 cup
*Vanilla (Pure Vanilla from Madagascar), 1 tsp
*Great Value Baking Soda, 1 tsp
*Maple Crest 100% Pure Maple Syrup - 1/4 cup, 1 serving
    Ellis Pecan bits, 0.25 cup

Tips

Make sure your bananas are very ripe/brown and mushy. Fresh bananas won't work in this recipe.

Directions

Heat oven to 325
Melt butter in microwave, Mix all ingredients in a big bowl ( No need to sift flour or to combine the wet and dry ingredients separately. ) Mush all together with clean hands, you don't want to mush mixture until smooth, you want bits of the banana to remain intact. Spray and flour a loaf pan thoroughly , don't skip this step or your bread will get stuck. Take out after bread is thoroughly cooked and brown. My oven is new and it takes only an hour but yours might take a little longer. Wait until bread is cool in pan before getting plate and tipping bread over onto plate. Enjoy!

Serving Size: Makes approx. 10- 12 slices
