Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    1 cup white whole wheat flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    .50 tsp. baking soda
    dash salt
    1/4 up unsweet applesauce
    1 lemon (zest of and juice)
    water

Directions

preheat to 350
grease cookie sheet or line with parchment
mix dry ingredients
add applesauce, stir until chunks of dough form
add zest and juice of entire lemon and stir
add water 1 tablespoon at a time until batter is wet, but not runny
drop by spoonfuls onto sheet, use fingers to flatten into circles
bake 10-15 minutes
best served with jam.
