Ingredients

    6 c. torn fresh spinach (8 oz.)
    1/2 tsp. toasted sesame seed
    2 c. fresh strawberries
    1/4 c. salad oil (not olive oil)
    2 tbsp. red wine vinegar
    1 1/2 tbsp. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. snipped fresh dillweed or 1/2 tsp. dried dillweed
    1/8 tsp. onion powder
    1/8 tsp. garlic powder
    1/8 tsp. dry mustard

Directions

Place spinach in a large bowl. Sprinkle with sesame seed. Cut large strawberries in half; add berries to salad.

In a screw-top jar, combine remaining ingredients, 1/8 teaspoon salt and 1/8 teaspoon pepper. Cover; shake. (Dressing may be prepared several hours before serving; chill. Shake well before using.)

Pour dressing over mixture in bowl; toss gently. Makes 6 servings.
