Ingredients

    1tbs Olive Oil
    1 Med Onion, chopped
    1 small green bell pepper, coarsley chopped
    2 garlic cloves, minced
    5 cups water
    2 (14.5 oz) cans Italian-style stewed tomatoes (diced)
    1 18 oz pkg frozen cooked meatballs (quartered if meatballs are large)
    2 tsp paprika
    1 tsp salt
    1 tsp turmeric
    1/4 tsp pepper
    1 1/2 oz (1/2 cup) elbow macaroni or rotini

Directions

1. Heat oil in large saucepan over med/high heat until hot. Add onion, bell pepper & garlic; cook & stir 2 to 3 min or until veg are crisp-tender.
2. Add all remaining ingredients except macaroni; mix well. bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover & simmer 10 min. Add Macaroni; cook, uncovered 10 to 15 min or until macaroni is tender.

Yields 7 1.5 cup servings
