Ingredients

    Grapeseed Oil, 1 tbsp
    Soy Sauce, 1 tbsp
    Plain white flour, 10 g
    Beef, flank steak, 340 grams
    Garlic, 3 clove
    Onions, 1 thinly sliced
    Ginger Root, 1 tsp thin slices
    Broccoli, fresh, 300 grams
    Beef stock, 1 cup or 150 ml
    Oyster Sauce, 3 tbsp

Serve hot with steamed rice


Directions

1. In a small bowl, combine flour and soy sauce
2. Thinly cut the beef and place in the bowl with flavoured flour, marinade for about 15 to 20 minutes
3. While meat is marinating, mince garlic, thinly slice the onion and ginger.
4. Slice the broccoli and set aside
5. Heat the oil in a wok on medium heat until hot
6. Add garlic, onion, ginger in the wok until aromatic
7. Add the coated beef and toss frequently so it does not stick at the bottom of the pan until browned
8. Add the broccoli, preferably tenderstem, in the wok and toss until coated
9. Pour in the beef stock and simmer until liquid thickens into sauce-like consistency
10. Add the oyster sauce, stir and serve
