    2 tbsp no salt butter
    1 tsp garlic; finely chopped
    2 tbsp parsley; finely chopped
    2 tbsp butter; cut into pieces
    1 cup bread crumbs (Italian)
    24 oysters


In a heavy skillet, melt butter over moderate heat. When foam subsides, add bread crumbs, and garlic. Toss 2-3 mins. until crisp and golden. Stir in parsley and grated cheese. Put oysters in
shallow pan, lsrge enough to hold in single layer. Sprinkle crumbs on oysters. Dot the top with tiny bits of butter.

Preheat oven to 450 degrees F. Bake oysters in top third of oven for 12-15 mins. until the crumbs are golden. Juices in the dish should be bubbling. Serve at once.

    Noticed that recipe instructions call for adding cheese,yet cheese is not listed in the ingredients. - 5/3/11

    Very Good
    It was very good. I did not put the butter on top, because I thought it would burn at 450 degrees. I also put olive oil in bottom of baking dish. I will try it again. - 2/24/10
