Introduction

Delicious greek chicken to serve on pitas or as tacos with cucumber sauce, cucumbers, tomatoes, onions, etc. Even great on a salad! Delicious greek chicken to serve on pitas or as tacos with cucumber sauce, cucumbers, tomatoes, onions, etc. Even great on a salad!
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts
    juice of one lemon
    4 cloves of garlic, chopped
    1 medium onion, diced
    3/4 c chicken stock/broth
    1 T oregano
    1 tsp sea salt
    1 T of Greek seasoning (from specialty spice shop) or lemon pepper

Tips

To keep chicken from drying out, flip chicken every once in awhile as the liquid will not cover the chicken breasts-or-add more broth to cover and drain at the end of cooking.


Directions

Place all ingredients in slow cooker and cook on low for 6 hrs. Shred (my favorite way is to use a stand mixer with paddle attachment) and serve as desired.
