Ingredients

    1 egg
    3/4 cup sugar
    2 clups flour
    1 teaspoon salt
    3 T butter
    2 t. baking powder
    1/2 c. walnuts
    1 14.5 oz can tart (unsweetened) cherries
    milk

Directions

12 slices

pour juice from cherries into a 8 oz cup and fill with milk. Cut cherried in half (optional). Add all ingredients together and put into prepared loaf pan. Bake for about 1 hour at 350 degrees F.
