Ingredients

    24 oz chicken cut into cubes
    1 can Healthy Request Cream of mushroom oup
    1 can Healthy Request Cream of chicken soup
    1 cup nonfat milk
    1 cup water
    1 Tbsp Black Pepper
    1 Tbsp Garlic Powder
    24 oz of frozen mixed vegetables
    1/2 cup fresh mushrooms
    1 Tbsp Chicken Bouillion
    flour or corn starch as a thickening agent as needed

Directions

1) Cut partially frozen chicken into cubes. Put cubes into crockpot

2) Mix soups, milk, water, pepper, chicken bouillion and garlic powder in a bowl.

3) Put vegetables into crockpot, then pour soup mixture ovet the top. Add fresh mushrooms.

4) Cook 7-8 hours on low temperature, stirring occasionally. Check thickness 30 minutes prior to serving, thicken with flour or corn starch to desired consistency.

Serve with fresh baked breadsticks (or leftover Olive garden breadsticks from the night before LOL)

    Delicious & super easy!!!!! My whole family loved it, and I was even able to sneak in veggies that they don't normally eat..BONUS!!!! We served it over HeartSmart Bisquick biscuits....really good!!!!! - 8/13/09

    I made this, but without the bouillon to save myself on the sodium, also skipped on the milk and added fresh veggies instead of frozen. I added my chicken whole, and about half way through the cooking I used two forks to shred it up.

    This was an easy recipe and it was delicious. It was actually better than the one baked in the oven. It is definitely one that i will cook again and again. - 4/13/10
