Ingredients

    1lb peeled and deviened shrimp
    1/2 cup white wine
    1 tbsp of crushed red pepper
    2 tsp of garlic
    8oz of Angel Hair Pasta
    3 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Directions

Boil Pasta until done. In a non-stick skillet combine shrimp, oil, pepper, and garlic. Cook until shrimp is pink, do not over cook the shrimp. During the last two minutes of cooking time add the wine and let the alcohol cook out. Toss shrimp mixture with pasta and serve.

    Well, I was heavy-handed with both the crushed red pepper and the garlic and my hubby and I wouldn't change a thing. We were ecstatic!     I used extra jumbo shrimp, and added frozen spinach after the wine had cooked down. VERY VERY tasty! I would definitely make it again! - 12/28/07

    This is wonderful. Easy, tasty and a little heat. Actually quite a bit of heat but I wouldn't change it. I used nice big frozen (uncooked) shrimp and it worked out fine. I didn't have any wine so used some broth with about a tblsp. of white wine vinegar. I can't wait to have this again. GAV - 11/12/07

    Love this recipe because of the very few ingredients-a bag of frozen shrimp is always in my freezer. I might cut the oil down to 1 tbsp & add 1/8 cup of the pasta cooking water - then add 2 tbsp freshly grated parmesan cheese! Ciao bella! - 3/29/07
