Ingredients

    Granulated Sugar, 1 3/4 cup
    Applesauce, unsweetened, 1/2 cup
    Creamy Peanut Butter: Natural, 3/4 cup
    Milk, 1%, 1/2 cup
    Cocoa Powder, Unsweetened 6 tbsp
    Vanilla Extract, 1 tsp
    butter extract, 1 tsp
    Oats - Quick Dry, 3 cup

Tips

This make ahead treat can be frozen for up to two months.


Directions

Mix sugar, applesauce, peanut butter, milk, cocoa powder, vanilla and butter extract in a sauce pan and simmer for three minutes stirring until smooth.
Pour mixture over oats and stir well. Using a small cookie scoop, scoop mix onto parchment or wax paper and place in refrigerator to cool. Once cool enjoy!
