Introduction
Mom has made this cake for her six kids for their birthdays for nearly 70 years. It is a special treat. I figured calories on 16th of cake but it is so rich you will eat less. Ingredients

Cake
2 1/2 cup Self rising Flour
1 1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup Crisco
1 cup Evaporated Milk
2 eggs
2 Tablespoon Vanilla
Icing
4 cups Sugar
3/4 cup Cocoa
1 1/2 cup water
1 stick butter
2 Tablespoon Vanilla
Directions
Heat Oven to 350°
Mix flour, sugar and Crisco. Beat eggs and stir in flour mixture along with milk and vanilla. Mix at least 3 minutes. Pour into 3 greased and floured pans. Bake 30 minutes or until knife inserted in middle comes out clean. Cool.
Icing
In heavy large pan mix sugar and cocoa. Stir in water. Cook on med high until boiling stirring constantly. Once boiling, boil 3 minutes or until soft ball stage. Remove from heat, stir in butter and vanilla. Beat well.
Poke holes in first layer of cake and spoon some of icing over, allowing it to seep into holes. Put next layer on top of 1st layer repeat icing instructions. Same with 3rd with remaining icing, allowing icing to run over sides. Refrigerate.
