Ingredients

    4 cup ham stock (by SLEEPYPAULA)
    4 cup Imagine Organic Vegetable Stock (by HEALTHIERANN66)
    8 oz Cured Ham
    2 cup Dried Black eyed peas (by JENNI-1976)

Tips

This makes a very satisfying meal on a cold night served with cornbread.


Directions

Soak peas for at least 2 hours the drain. Add peas to soup pot. Add ham & vegetable stock. Bring to boil then turn to low and cook for 3 - 4 hours. Be sure to check liquid and add stock or water as needed. 30 minutes before serving add leftover ham cut into bite sized pieces.
