Introduction

This is a traditional holiday salad at our house passed down from Aunt Nin, made diabetes safe. This is a traditional holiday salad at our house passed down from Aunt Nin, made diabetes safe.

Ingredients

    2 Granny Smith apple - 1 med. apple
    1 fruit (2-5/8" dia) Orange
    12 oz. Cranberries
    3/4 c. Splenda

Tips

Add 1/2 cup of chopped pecans or your favorite nuts for texture and variety.


Directions

Peel orange and remove any seeds. Core and rough chop apples. Combine fruit and feed through grinder or food processor until finely chopped. Stir in Splenda and refrigerate for an hour before serving.
